Why we built this, who we are, and what we're trying to help UK practices do.
Making AI governance accessible to every professional practice
123DPO was built to solve a problem we kept seeing: professional practices adopting AI tools rapidly, under competitive and client pressure, without the governance infrastructure to do so safely.
Most compliance guidance is written for enterprise legal and compliance teams, not for a 25-person architecture practice, a six-partner accountancy firm, or a busy GP surgery. It assumes resources, internal expertise, and time that most professional practices simply don't have.
123DPO exists to bridge that gap. Free tools, plain-English resources, and practical frameworks that any practice can use, regardless of size or internal IT capability.
What we provide
The AI Governance Self-Assessment, free template downloads, and the Insights articles are all free to use, no account required. Where practices need hands-on support from a specialist IT partner, we signpost to the appropriate team within the Net Essence Group.
What we don't do
